  • Chicago Christmas Tree: Tomorrow, Nov. 17 is the 110th annual City of Chicago Christmas Tree lighting in Millennium Park! There will be a ceremony with musical performances beforehand and fireworks after! We organized all the important event information here.

  • Lights Festival: The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival takes place this Saturday, Nov. 18 on Michigan Avenue. Mickey and Minnie Mouse serve as the Grand Marshals of the parade where they will help illuminate 1 million lights! See the schedule of events.

  • Christkindlmarket: The traditional German-Style Christkindlmarket returns to Daley Plaza, Wrigleyville and Aurora tomorrow, Nov. 17! The market is free to visit, and it is one of the must-do holiday activities in Chicago! Don’t miss out on the new mugs this year!

  • CTA Holiday Train: This year’s CTA Holiday Train schedule was just released this morning! The first official Holiday Train will be on Friday, Nov. 24. See the full schedule.

  • ZooLights: Lincoln Park’s ZooLights begin tomorrow, Nov. 17, and tickets are now on sale. You must have tickets to enter. Mondays are free, most weeknights are $7 and weekends and premium dates are $10.

  • Ice Skating: Chicago’s two premier ice skating venues open tomorrow, Nov. 17. The Ice Skating Ribbon and McCormick Tribune Ice Rink are both ticketed experiences, so make sure to plan ahead of time.
