Small Business Saturday
Chicago Artisan Market: Spend Small Business Saturday (and Sunday) at the expanded Chicago Artisan Market this weekend! This two-day market will span the length of two buildings and feature 200+ talented artisans!
This will be their biggest market of the year, and it will take place at Artifact Events (4325 N Ravenswood Ave) in Ravenswood on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There is free parking, you can eat and drink while you shop, kids under 12 are free and you can bring your dog. Here is a glimpse of what it looks like!
Tickets are either 1 for $8 or 4 for $20 if you buy them online in advance!

Thanksgiving Travel: More than 1.8 million people are expected to travel through O’Hare and Midway airports this week, according to the Chicago Department of Aviation. If you find yourself at O’Hare’s Terminal 5 this week, consider treating yourself to a slice of this “Give Thanks for Pie” Cake from The Goddess and Grocer.
Chicago’s Thanksgiving Parade: For those planning to be in the city tomorrow, the 90th annual Chicago Thanksgiving Parade will be taking place on State Street from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The parade route kicks off at Ida B. Wells Drive and goes north to Randolph Street.
Feeling Blue: The Blue Man Group has announced that their Chicago residency will be ending on Jan. 5, 2025 after a historic 27-year run. If you want to see the iconic trio of blue men in Lakeview one last time before they leave, you can still get tickets.
Roister Gets FIREd: The Alinea Group has closed their Fulton Market restaurant Roister after eight years. The space has quickly been revamped into a new concept from Chef Grant Achatz called FIRE that will use different open-fire cooking techniques. The restaurant will exclusively serve tasting menus (in the seven to eight course range).
Post Malone at Wrigley Field: Post Malone has announced a 2025 stadium tour with Jelly Roll, and Chicago’s Wrigley Field made the venue list. The Grammy-nominated artist will be touring on his debut country album called F-1 Trillion. The Chicago concert will take place on May 22, 2025.

Top 100 Restaurants: OpenTable released its annual list of their Top 100 restaurants in the United States, which is actually decided by diners not critics. Chicago had a strong showing with 10 restaurants making the list!
Wicked for Wicked?: With all the hype surrounding the Wicked movie (released in theaters last Friday), you may find yourself wanting to see the actual musical. While there are not any Chicago shows currently planned for the 2025 North American Tour, they will be stopping in Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee and Peoria this summer.
