  • Valentine’s Day: Love is in the air, Chicago! If you are still figuring out your perfect plan for Valentine’s Day, that’s okay! Here are some helpful resources full of fun things you can do with your sweetheart: Choose Chicago’s top things to do for Valentine’s Day, TimeOut Chicago’s Valentine’s Day guide and Chicago Food Magazine’s Valentine’s Day restaurant recommendations by Chicago neighborhood.

  • Navy Pier Fireworks: If you are looking for a free after-dinner activity with your Valentine tomorrow, and you are willing to brave the cold, there will be a Valentine’s Day fireworks show at Navy Pier on Friday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. It can be best viewed from the southwest side of Navy Pier. The show is free and open to the public. Get all the details.

  • United Airlines: Rumors are beginning to circulate that United Airlines could potentially be considering moving their corporate headquarters from Chicago to Denver. This comes after United said that it may build over a million square feet of new office space, that could house over 6,000 United employees, on land that they recently purchased near the Denver airport. The Willis Tower has been United’s headquarters since 2007.

  • Bath House: Move over AIRE Ancient Baths because a new luxury bathhouse is coming to Chicago. Bathhouse, a New York City based company, is planning to turn a West Loop parking lot at 1010 W. Madison St. into Chicago’s newest spa oasis. The three-story, 40,000-square foot Chicago Bathouse will have steam rooms, saunas, cold tubs, warm pools, spa offerings, a luxury rooftop experience, restaurant and more.

  • Rainbow Cone: The Original Rainbow Cone is offering a special promotion for Valentine’s Day weekend, at all Illinois Rainbow Cone locations, where their signature five-flavor cone will be buy one get one free from Thursday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 16. At around $7 cone, this BOGO deal is pretty good if you’re in the mood to eat ice cream in February!

  • The Bear Filming: You may have seen our post this week that The Bear returns to Chicago this month for season four filming. And while it appears that they are done taking applications for extras to be theater attendees, congrats if you acted quickly enough on that one, producers are now looking for an infant 0-6 months and a girl 2-3 years old.

  • Affordable Date Night: Valentine’s Day, aka the biggest date night of the year, is tomorrow, and Eater Chicago rounded up some of Chicago’s Best Affordable Date Night Options. How many of these 19 spots have you been to?

  • Baby Beluga: The Shedd Aquarium has an adorable new baby beluga, and now that he is six months old, they are looking to give him a name with help from their members.

  • Concerts: Justin Timberlake is performing at the United Center on Valentine’s Day tomorrow. It was just announced yesterday that The Lumineers are coming to Soldier Field on Aug. 30. Beyonce had added a third Chicago show (May 18) at Soldier Field. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 12 p.m.
