The headliners (set list predictions) for this year include Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Ray, Karol G, the 1975 and Tomorrow x Together. If you aren’t going but you want to still watch it, you can on Hulu (TV Schedule). On a related note, someone posted a TikTok that shows a Lolla wristband life hack.

  • Best Airport Food: Does Chicago’s O’Hare Airport have the best airport food? According to Global Traveler’s annual “Trazee Awards” it just might as it again won the award for “Favorite Airport Dining.” On that note, three popular restaurants are soon coming to the airport.

  • Shedd Aquarium: Updated plans and pictures are out showcasing what the new and improved Shedd Aquarium will look like after the completion of the $500 million Centennial Commitment initiative. The goal was to update the Shedd in advance of its 100th birthday in 2030.

  • Free Cookies: National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day is tomorrow and Crumbl is celebrating on Michigan Ave. with a larger than life milk chocolate chip cookie sculpture and free cookies at Pioneer Court starting at noon.

  • Chicago Hotels: While Lollapalooza is this weekend, Chicago has also had many big events this summer that have filled the downtown hotels to near capacity. See where Beyonce, Taylor Swift and NASCAR stacked up when it came to filling hotel rooms.

Just for Fun

  • Home of the Week: The 12,000-square-foot, five-bedroom Winnetka mansion that sits on Lake Michigan, and is pictured above, is the Chicago area’s most expensive home to sell so far in 2023. Take a guess at how much it sold for before seeing the price.

  • High Ropes Course: If you haven’t been to the world’s largest aerial ropes course yet in Lemont, you are missing out! We teamed up with them (The Forge: Lemont Quarries) to give our followers an exclusive discount deal that saves you $25/$30 per person (no code needed)!

  • Restaurant Openings: New restaurants, bars and entertainment venues are coming to Chicago. Check out the latest info on what spots will be opening soon.

  • Taylor Swift: Turns out the Eras Tour is not quite done with stops in the United States after all. Taylor has added 15 additional 2024 tour stop dates, and one of them is driving distance from Chicago.
