Dick’s Last Resort Replacement: The restaurant space in Marina City Towers (315 N Dearborn St) that has sat vacant for years since Dick’s Last Resort went out of business, finally has a new restaurant going in.
Cooper’s Hawk Chicago: And just as one new restaurant comes to Chicago, another one leaves. Cooper’s Hawk has announced they are shutting down their beautiful Gold Coast restaurant this summer (their sole Chicago location).

Ping Tom Park Kayaks: After a three-year hiatus, REI reopened the Ping Tom Memorial Park Boathouse this past weekend. REI is partnering with the Park District to offer public kayak rentals and guided tours on the Chicago River.
Rentals cost $30 for a single kayak and $40 for a tandem kayak for the first hour and $15 for each additional hour. If you make an online reservation by June 6, you can use code “KAYAK23” to save 30%. Learn more.
