• Bally’s Casino: Chicago’s first ever casino opened over the weekend at Medinah Temple in River North. It’s their temporary location while they build out their $1.7 billion casino at the Tribune Printing Plant site. We captured the excitement when they opened their doors for the very first time. Is it a good thing for Chicago though?

• Guinness Brewery: We have great news if you’re a fan of the iconic Irish stout! After nearly two years of anticipation, Guinness is set to open their new Chicago Open Gate Brewery on Sept. 28 in West Loop!

• Levain Bakery: The famous New York bakery is set to open their second location in Chicago tomorrow at 8am, also in River North, at 408 N. Clark Street! Be one of the first 100 people to visit the store for its opening and you’ll get a free swag bag and cookie!

• Hamilton: The Tony-award winning musical Hamilton has officially returned to Chicago! Yesterday’s was the opening performance. The best way to see it might just be to enter the digital lottery that takes place every week through the end of the year because It gives you a chance to see the show for just $10!

• Tipped Minimum Wage: A proposed ordinance is aiming to eliminate the tipped minimum wage in Chicago as soon as next month. This means that tipped workers in restaurants could soon see a big change in their pay structure.

• Christmas Vacation: If you are a fan of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Chevy Chase is doing a special event at the Chicago Theatre on Nov. 26. Presale tickets went on sale at 10am today. Use the code SOCIAL to get access.

• Chicago Bulls: Speaking of on sale at 10am this morning, the Chicago Bulls single game tickets for this upcoming season just went on sale. See the Bulls schedule for this year.

• McDonald’s Soda: Goodbye free refills?! Maybe. Okay this one might not be as fun, but McDonald’s has decided to phase out their self-service soda machines in their US restaurants.

• Starbucks BOGO: ICYMI, every Thursday this month, which is today, Starbucks is doing BOGO fall drinks after 12pm via their app!
