Spotify Wrapped: If you went on Instagram yesterday, you probably noticed that it was Spotify Wrapped Day! If you are curious what music Chicagoans loved this past year, Axios Chicago put together a cool recap with the city’s favorite artists, songs and genres! After taking a look, make sure to also let us know if you participated in the trend in our poll below!
Grocery Store Merger: Two of Chicago’s beloved grocery stores Foxtrot and Dom’s Kitchen & Market announced this week that they will be merging. The new company, Outfox Hospitality, said that they plan on keeping both brands for the time being. Check out our post for peoples’ reactions.
Winter Parking Ban: If you park on the street in Chicago, you need to be aware of the annual winter overnight parking ban that begins early tomorrow morning (Dec. 1) and lasts until April 1.

Holiday Brunch: We recently went to a holiday brunch buffet at Chief O’Neill’s in Avondale, and it was amazing! It costs $32 for all you can eat and $30 for bottomless drinks. They do it every Sunday.
Christmas Movies: This weekend, you can go to the movies for just $5! Regal City North is doing a holiday promo where they are showing old holiday classics at a discount. Dec. 2 at 1pm is The Polar Express and Dec. 3 at 1pm is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
Rolling Stones: Exciting news if you are a fan of classic rock! The Rolling Stones just added a second show at Soldier Field to their 2024 tour that will take place on June 30. Pre-sale tickets are on sale through tonight, while tickets go on sale to the general public for all shows at 10am tomorrow.

Mariah Carey: The Queen of Christmas will be in Chicago this Sunday Dec. 3 at the United Center for her Christmas extravaganza - Merry Christmas One And All. Tickets.
Gangnam Market: In other grocery store news, the new 28,000-square-foot Gangnam Market in River West is having their grand opening this weekend on Dec. 2 and Dec. 3 with free food and drink samples throughout the Asian street food inspired store.
The Nutcracker: The Joffrey Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’ kicks off this weekend on Sunday, Dec. 3 in Chicago. Shows take place at 2pm and 7pm at the Lyric Opera House and will run though Dec. 27. Tickets.
