It’s Hot AF: Did you notice it’s hot out? There is a great chance that today is Chicago’s hottest day in over a decade. Chicago takes its official temperature markings from O’Hare, and the last time it reached 100° was back in July of 2012. Lucky us!
White Sox Might Move: Could Chicago be losing its southside baseball team? There is a chance as the White Sox could be moving out of Guaranteed Rate Field when their lease expires according to a report from Crain’s. New stadium options are said to include somewhere else in the city, suburbs or even Nashville. They also cleaned house in their front office this week.
$4 Movies: National Cinema Day is this Sunday! To celebrate, theaters across Chicago are offering $4 movie tickets! Theaters like AMC, Regal, Alamo Drafthouse and more are participating. If you haven’t seen Barbie or Oppenheimer yet, this could be a great way for you to see it on the cheap!
PSL Season: Pumpkin Spice Lattes are officially back in Chicago starting today at Starbucks. It’s one of three new fall menu drinks which also includes an Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso and an Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Latte.
