  • Chicago Coyotes: It’s been a bad week to be a coyote in Chicago as just within the last week, the city has experienced three different, unrelated incidents. In a video that you have to see to believe, a coyote was pulled from the produce section of an Aldi in Humboldt Park. Separately, a United flight at O’Hare Airport hit a coyote on the runway during takeoff this week, and a group of teenagers stomped a coyote pup in Mount Greenwood.

  • Prince St. Pizza: The viral New York City pizza restaurant Prince Street Pizza officially opened in West Loop today at 939 W. Randolph St. They are known for their Sicilian SoHo square slices, most notably their Spicy Spring flavor with Fra Diavolo Sauce and pepperoni. They’ve also created an exclusive, Chicago-style flavor called the Chicago Supreme. Get all the details.

  • Cindy’s Rooftop: It was just announced this week at the Boka Restaurant Group will be taking over Cindy’s Rooftop at the Chicago Athletic Association in the Loop on March 1. It was previously announced that Boka was set to take over the Cherry Circle Room, Milk Room and Game Room at the hotel as well. These three spots are set to be reimagined, while Cindy’s Rooftop will operate as usual for the time being.

  • Comedy Shows Added: The Chicago Theatre announced the addition of two more shows due to overwhelming demand: a fourth Chicago Nikki Glaser show for her Alive and Unwell Tour and a second Chicago Aziz Ansari show for his Hypothetical Tour. Presale tickets for both shows are now live (as of 10 a.m. this morning) with special access code SOCIAL. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.

  • World City Rankings: A new list ranking the world’s best cities was just published by Time Out, and Chicago made the cut! They surveyed over 18,500 people in categories like food, nightlife, walkability, livability, affordability, culture, safety and more to come up with the 50 best cities in the world. See their rankings of the 50 Best Cities in the World.

  • Cultural Stadium: At a City Club of Chicago event this week, a group of people from an organization called Cultural Stadium pitched the transformation of Downtown Chicago through a variety of interesting ideas. These renderings for their vision of the future of Chicago are must see.

  • Thin Mints Frosty: In continuing with the Girl Scouts theme from last week, it’s rumored that Wendy’s will be releasing a Thin Mints Frosty on Feb. 21. It sounds like it will be a vanilla Frosty with Thin Mint flavor swirls.

  • January in Chicago: Not sure what to do this month while it’s so cold outside? Time Out Chicago put together a list of events, festivals, concerts, shows and more that are happening this January.
