Open House Chicago: Open House Chicago takes place this weekend on Oct. 14 and 15. The annual one-weekend only celebration shows off the best of Chicago’s architecture with 170+ sites in 20+ neighborhoods open to the public. The best part? It’s free! Plan your schedule ahead of time.
International Film Festival: The 59th Chicago International Film Festival kicked off yesterday and runs through Oct. 22. It’s North America’s longest-running competitive film festival. There are 100 feature films and 60 shorts films. You can get tickets to individual film screenings.
Free Chicken Sandwich: Fry the Coop is serving up hundreds of FREE fried chicken sandwiches TODAY from 3-5pm to celebrate the grand opening of their new Lincoln Park location (2404 N Lincoln Ave).
Le Select: Boka Restaurant Group’s Le Select in River North announced that, beginning this week, they are converting their 10-month-old French restaurant into a private event venue.
Guinness Brewery: The brewery that just opened a couple weeks ago in West Loop has already been put up for sale by the building owner. Guinness’ 10-year lease will not be affected.
