Pickle Haus: Pickleball: the game that is sweeping the nation! Have you played yet?! Answer our poll below when you get there! If you haven’t, you might just get the opportunity in the new future thanks to a massive new pickleball complex and entertainment center coming to the Chicagoland area. They are calling it the the “Top Golf” of pickleball, and it sounds awesome! While that location will be in the suburbs, a big pickleball place is also coming to Lincoln Park soon!
Golf Wrigley Field: Speaking of unique sports ideas, have you ever wanted to hit a tee shot from the upper deck of Wrigley Field into the outfield?! If that sounds cool, you’re in luck because Upper Deck Golf is coming to Wrigley Field from July 6-July 9 and they still have a few tee times available.
Kuma’s Corner: The famous Chicago burger spot is changing things up this summer with some interesting additions. They will begin selling hot dogs “H.E Doubleweiners” at their West Loop location. And at their original Avondale location, they are going to sell frozen desserts, like cookie sandwiches and gelato bars, out of their new “Voodoo Bar.” Get the details!
Mag Mile Closing: Another high-profile retailer is leaving Chicago’s most iconic shopping strip. AT&T has announced that they will close their Michigan Ave. store on Aug. 1. This comes after another phone-service provider, Verizon, also left the Mag Mile in March.
Ferris Bueller Pop-Up: If you are a fan of the hit movie from 1986, you are going to enjoy this new pop-up bar at Stretch in Wrigleyville. They have Ferris Bueller trivia tonight at 7:30pm too!

Hawaii Flight Deals: How does a Hawaiian vacation sound?! Today is the final day of Southwest’s 40th Birthday Sale. They have a bunch of flights for 40% off, but in our opinion, their $375 roundtrip flights to Hawaii are their biggest deal! They are offering flights from O’Hare to multiple different Hawaiian islands between August and December of this year for around that fantastic $188 one-way price point!
There still should be some availability left, but you will have to get creative searching for the deals. Make sure to check different months on the calendar and Hawaii airport options for availability. Maybe into one airport and out another? Check out our post to learn more specifics.
