• Chicago’s Weatherman: After 45 years at WGN, legendary Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling announced last week that he will be retiring on February 28, 2024. He has been a fixture on TVs across Chicago for generations. See what he plans on doing next.

• Best Hotel List: This week, two Chicago hotels were named as two of the top 10 hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveler. Two other Chicago hotels made the top 50 with the Four Seasons at No. 49 and Waldorf Astoria at No. 21. See which two spots made the top 10.

• Gibsons Meet Fulton: After a decade of searching, the owners of Gibsons, Chicago’s iconic steakhouse, have finally found a spot they like in West Loop’s Fulton Market, and they have signed a lease on a 15,000 square foot space at 919 W. Fulton Street.

• Half-Off Food: Aire Rooftop Bar in the Loop announced that they are giving 50% off all their food this week before they close for the season. If you are looking to go out this weekend, and save some money, this seems to be a really good deal! Here is their menu.

• Lemon Chicago: A new cocktail bar is coming to West Town next month called Lemon Chicago. The future craft cocktail bar will have a stage and host live jazz and other music shows. It will take over the long vacant Grandbar space at Grand and Ashland avenues.
