Chicago News
Chicagohenge: The twice-a-year uniquely Chicago experience has been taking place this week in the Loop for the spring equinox. People have been swarming to viewing areas to get the perfect picture. If you haven’t seen it yet, tonight is likely your last chance until September to still see the fun phenomenon.
Hubbard Inn vs Julia Reel: In what might be the biggest story in the Chicago bar and restaurant world right now, River North’s Hubbard Inn has decided to sue a woman for defamation after she posted a TikTok claiming that one of Hubbard Inn’s security guards pushed her down a staircase. To hear the full story, you can read Eater Chicago’s story and watch the video from Hubbard Inn.
Lollapalooza: ICYMI, the 2024 Lollapalooza lineup dropped on Tuesday. The presale is taking place this morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then at noon today, the public sale begins. People had a fun time this week debating the lineup on our post.
Taste of Chicago: Chicago’s infamous summer food festival was moved to September last year for the first time. Turns out that decision may now be here to stay with the NASCAR Street Race returning to Chicago for a second straight year this July.
The Bear: Exciting news if you are a fan of the TV show The Bear as they have already renewed the show for a fourth season. They haven’t aired any of season three yet, so it appears that they are currently filming both seasons back to back in Chicago right now. Yesterday, we saw them filming in front of Mr. Beef in River North.

Just for Fun
Pizza Madness: As March Madness kicks off today, WGN Radio has decided to conduct a Pizza Madness bracket with 64 Chicago area pizza places to find the best spot in Chicago. See the full bracket and vote for your favorite pizza spots.
Free Beer for a Year: Now this is pretty crazy… Mother’s Ruin is hosting their 2nd Annual Mother’s Ruin Mother’s Day Challenge where you have to visit all three of their locations in one day. The catch? The locations are in different cities (one is Chicago).
Green River: Did you know that the river is still green?! We are guessing it will probably fade pretty soon. In the meantime, you have to see this video of the river from Sunday where it almost looks neon green!
Poll Question of the Week
