  • Chicago Restaurant Week: The 17th annual Chicago Restaurant Week returns next Friday and runs from Jan. 19 - Feb. 4! This citywide celebration showcases the best in Chicago dining with over 400 restaurants across the city participating this year. Diners are able to select from prix-fixe menus at the following costs: brunch ($25), lunch ($25) and dinner ($42 or $59). Explore participating restaurants.

  • Chicago Theatre Week: Tickets are now on sale for Chicago Theatre Week (CTW) which runs from Feb. 8 - Feb. 18. Similar to Chicago Restaurant Week, CTW is a great way save money. You can catch a show at a more affordable price as there are 73 productions to choose from, and All CTW tickets are on sale for $30, $15 or even less. Tickets.

  • I-PASS News: The Illinois Tollway has announced that they are phasing out the big I-PASS transponders that hang on your windshield to pay tolls around Chicago. Instead, Chicagoans will now be getting RFID I-PASS sticker tags that will need to be affixed to vehicles. Learn more on what you will need to do.

  • Wienermobile: How much would you have to get paid to drive around the Wienermobile for a year?! Oscar Mayer is looking to hire 12 new drivers for a one-year assignment. You get a salary, health benefits and a weekly allowance for food and travel. Find out the salary.

  • Chicago Bacon Fest: Speaking of pork, Chicago Bacon Fest is coming to Wrigleyville next month and will feature the likes of bacon pancakes with bacon syrup, bacon grilled cheese, bacon mac and cheese, bacon nachos and more. Get early bird tickets for $10.

  • Mean Girls: 20 years after the original Mean Girls movie premiered, round two is set to hit theaters tomorrow, Jan. 12. This Mean Girls movie is being dubbed “Revenge Party.” You will see a lot of familiar faces when you watch the trailer.
